Privacy &
GDPR.
This notice explains how Magma Productions Dev handles personal data when you visit this website or interact with our services.
1. Data controller
The data controller for this website is Magma Productions Limited (company number 13137932), registered at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Magma Productions Dev is its software-development division.
For privacy-related enquiries, contact us at info@magmaproductions.dev.
2. Data we may process
This website includes a project-request contact form. When you use it, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, company or organisation, project type and message. The site also stores your light/dark theme, language preference and privacy-notice acknowledgement locally in your browser. We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers.
Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, request time, browser information, requested page and security logs.
3. Why we process data
We process technical data to provide the site, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors and ensure reliable operation. We process information submitted through the contact form to respond to your enquiry, evaluate a requested project and, where relevant, take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Depending on the context, the legal basis may include Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.
4. Contact and custom-solution requests
When you submit a custom-solution request, the information is sent to Magma Productions Dev at info@magmaproductions.dev so we can review the request and reply. The acknowledgement checkbox confirms that you have read this notice; it is not used as consent for marketing. We do not use the form submission to add you to marketing lists unless a separate opt-in is offered in the future.
5. Recipients and service providers
Technical data and contact-form submissions may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, security and email service providers strictly as needed to operate the website and deliver your enquiry to us. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards required by applicable data-protection law should be used, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.
7. Retention
Technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics, service operation and applicable legal requirements. Contact enquiries are retained for as long as needed to handle the request, follow up on the potential project and meet applicable business or legal record-keeping requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymised when no longer necessary.
8. Your GDPR rights
Subject to the conditions set by applicable UK data-protection law and, where relevant, the EU GDPR, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or, where applicable, the competent supervisory authority in your country.
9. External links
This site links to other Magma Productions websites and tools. Those services may have their own privacy information, especially if they collect data or provide user accounts. Their own notices should be read when using them.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this privacy notice when the website, tools, service providers or legal requirements change. The date shown at the top indicates the latest revision.
